Model Rocketry

Learn how to build and launch your own model rocket!

Model Rocketry is the art and science of learning how rockets fly, then building and finishing your own model rocket, and finally launching that rocket into the sky.  During this program we will go through those steps. 

• Learn the science behind what makes a model rocket fly.

• Understand all the parts of the rocket and the purpose of each.

• Build your own model rocket.

• Test your rocket to make sure it will fly straight and come back to Earth safely.

• Finally, on the last day, we will launch the rockets you have built*

* We will not launch the rockets at the farm, but at a nearby field.  Location to be determined.
